Roundy's Foundation Donates to Community Garden Partnership

On Thursday March 29, 2007 Community Garden Partnership, a program of Goodwill NCW, was presented a check for $7,500 by Connie Jones of the Roundy's Foundation.

"We are excited at the support the Roundy's Foundation has given us," commented Susan Richardson, Urban Garden Coordinator for the Community Garden Partnership.

This was the third consecutive annual gift from the Roundy's Foundation to Goodwill NCW's garden program.
The presentation was part of “Roundy’s on the Road: A Foundation Food Tour-Spring 2007.”

Chartered in August 2003, the Roundy's Foundation was created to further strengthen the commitment  Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. has to the communities in which it serves.  Roundy's, Pick 'n Save and Copps stores are found throughout all of north central Wisconsin.  The Roundy's Foundation is dedicated to hunger relief, families in crisis and literacy, and since its inception has given more than $1,000,000 to organizations focused on community service in those areas of need.
