CATCH My Breath™
Barron County Restorative Justice
CATCH My Breath™ is a youth e-cigarette and vape prevention program for youth and young adults under the age of 21. This evidence-informed program was developed by the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health. The program provides up-to-date information to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy and informed decisions about the use of E-cigarettes, including JUUL devices.
CATCH My Breath is held once a month in separate groups for high school and middle school students. CATCH My Breath is held at the Barron County Restorative Justice Programs office. The fee is $25, which can be paid the night of the class. Students must wear a face covering to their session, and groups will have no more than four students for safe social distancing. Most students are referred to this program by their school principal, municipal court or a school resource officer in lieu of a citation.
