Your purchases and donations stay local and support individuals served by Goodwill NCW as they build job skills to sustain employment and improve their financial stability.
Every purchase provides pathways. Goodwill NCW reinvests an average of 90 cents of every dollar in store sales back into the mission to provide life-changing impact to individuals with barriers to employment.
Every donation builds job skills. The average donation creates nearly three hours of job training through Goodwill NCW mission programs to empower individuals to reach their fullest potential.
Every partnership creates opportunities. Goodwill NCW partners with more than 120 nonprofits across north central Wisconsin to transform lives through the power of work.

Meet Andreanna
Andreanna was hired at the Waupaca Goodwill store in 2022 as a Production Specialist after completing a training program. The hands-on training taught her how to prioritize job tasks and communicate with her fellow team members.
During the training program, her employment coach worked at her pace to overcome anxiety and social barriers, build her job skills and meet proficiency goals. Now she works independently and is gaining speed on tasks like ticketing and counting donations. She is determined to do her best and regularly exceeds her goals.
“When it came to finding a job for Andreanna, I knew that Goodwill would be a great fit,” Andreanna’s mom said. “She truly loves coming to work to help her team and gain more skills.”
Meet Patty
Patty started training at the Rib Mountain store through Goodwill NCW’s mission program. At the beginning of her program, she worked four hours a week. She focused on overcoming her fears about communicating with others and being able to complete job tasks.
By the time she finished her program, Patty had built enough confidence and job skills to work 20 hours. Patty was hired as a Production Specialist, getting donations ready for the sales floor. Along the way, she has learned how to connect with her fellow team members.
“Patty displays our value of caring for people by checking in with each team member daily,” Patty’s store leader said.
Patty is proud of all she has overcome and accomplished through her time at Goodwill NCW. She said that Goodwill NCW has helped her work through her challenges and sustain employment which has improved her family’s financial stability.
