Goodwill North Central Wisconsin (NCW) has been awarded a 2024 Top Workplace honor by Gannett Satellite Information Network’s Northeast Wisconsin Top Workplaces. The award is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

Highlights from the Goodwill NCW survey show that many of the organization’s scores were in the top 10% in the industry. Responses emphasized the culture of respect Goodwill NCW has for its team members. Goodwill NCW’s Overall Work Experience Score is 76%, with 83% of team members saying they feel respected and supported. Responses indicated that team members feel closely aligned with Goodwill NCW’s mission of Elevating People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment. In addition to winning a Top Workplace award in the “Midsize” category (150-499 employees in northeast Wisconsin), Goodwill NCW was also awarded two of 16 special awards based on employees’ responses to specific questions in the survey. The awards were for Clued-In Senior Management: Senior managers understand what is really happening at this company, and Managers: My manager helps me learn and grow.
