Who’s ready for warmer weather? It’s getting to be that time of the year when I’m ready to move my winter clothes to the back of my closet. I adore my cozy pieces, but I’m looking forward to styling new items for the upcoming season.

This spring, there are quite a few trends to be on the lookout for while you thrift. Here are the top five spring trends that I’m anticipating.

Loose Knits

Who What Wear predicts that knitwear will stick around as a trend this spring. Cobweb-like patterns are very stylish and feel weather-appropriate in warmer temps.

Floral Patterns

It may go without saying that floral patterns are a spring fashion trend, but I’ll say it anyway: It’s time to get your petal power on! This is a trend that you can really make your own. There are many unique flowery pieces that you can find at your local Goodwill NCW store. First, determine the colors you’d love to find incorporated in your floral top. Then, search the color-coordinated racks for your flowers!

Embellished Bags

According to Glamour, party bags are in! Be on the lookout for small to midsize handbags that have lots of sparkle and shine; they make fun accessories that add flair to any outfit.

Statement Fringe

On the runway, we have seen everything from fringed sleeves to fully fringed dresses. I’d recommend looking for pieces that have feathery or fringe elements. Personally, I love western-style fringed jackets!

Silver & Gold

Designers are releasing more metallic options in the spring, which is causing fashion editors to consider this trend a perennial favorite. Metal tones can give your outfits a strong and timeless feel. Silver or gold looks are perfect for nights out. At my local Goodwill, I scored my favorite little silver dress (you may recognize it from a previous blog post).

There are tons of ways that you can make each of these fashion trends uniquely yours. I hope this list inspires you to try something new!
