Creating DIY ruby slippers for this year’s Halloween costume, using thrifted shoes from Goodwill NCW is fun! We saved on a great pair of secondhand shoes and gave them a snazzy second chance at life!

Gather Supplies
- Thrifted pair of shoes
- Ruby red paint & paint brush
- Modge Podge
- Red glitter

Pick the perfect shoes
Ballet flats will work great for those classic ruby slippers but don’t be afraid to pick a unique style to really make your costume stand out.

Paint
Paint your shoes with 1-2 layers of red paint & allow to dry.

Glitter
Add Modge Podge and glitter with a paint brush.
