What is Secondhand September?
Secondhand September promotes the idea of a circular economy and responsible recycling during the month and beyond encouraging people to donate, purchase and repurpose goods. By doing this, you not only reduce waste but also promote sustainable fashion practices. Everyone is encouraged to shop at thrift stores, vintage shops and other secondhand marketplaces, supporting the circular economy and raising awareness about the benefits of reusing and recycling.
Goodwill NCW has been promoting sustainability since 1902, playing a key role in giving new life to secondhand items. Our sustainability efforts align with the United Nation’s sustainable development goals to transform our world, envisioning “the world in 2030, fully inclusive of persons with disabilities.” We achieve this by:

- Ensuring protection for the vulnerable
