Contracted work teams for operational support and talent development
Group Supported Employment (GSE) provides individuals with disabilities and other employment barriers the opportunity to develop workplace skills through meaningful, hands-on work experiences in real business environments. Participants work as part of a small team and receive ongoing support from a Goodwill NCW Employment Coach who provides training, encouragement and skill development every step of the way.
At Goodwill NCW, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute and succeed. GSE serves as a pathway to greater independence, community engagement and future employment opportunities.
Individuals work in small groups (3–6 people) at community job sites with the guidance of a dedicated Goodwill NCW employment coach. This program is designed to help participants develop the skills, confidence and experience needed to pursue a permanent job in an industry that matches their interests and qualifications.
Goodwill NCW’s GSE program provides local businesses with a contracted work team, ensuring they receive dependable, consistent support for routine and essential tasks. Services are provided under a formal, contracted agreement.
Group Supported Employment provides paid, real-world work experience with daily coaching to help individuals grow their skills, confidence, and independence in an inclusive team setting.
