85% of job seekers who secured jobs through Goodwill NCW Employment Services in 2023 were from disadvantaged populations, including people without housing, with refugee status, who were justice-involved or who have a disability.

Personalized Pathways to Success
We guide individuals, helping them reach their goals by building transferable job skills at a pace that’s tailored to their pathway.
Pathways may include:
- Upskilling through classroom-style courses or certifications and on-the-job training within a Goodwill NCW location or local business where participants build social, digital, workplace and financial wellness skills.
- Guiding participants through the stages of seeking employment, securing employment and sustaining success at work, including career exploration, résumé building and developing goals.
- Providing post-employment support including one-on-one coaching, job goal tracking, wrap-around services for challenges outside of work and advocacy or coordination with their employer and funding agency.

Our programs are meant to complement each other and provide flexible pathways based on an individual’s goals. An individual’s path to success can include various opportunities in a combination of programs, from job and social skills training to financial coaching and digital skills building.

Job Skills Training
Goodwill NCW Job Skills Training Programs equip participants with the skills they need to pursue a career of their choice. Our mission team helps individuals define personal goals to overcome barriers and find meaningful work. We provide on-the-job training at Goodwill NCW retail stores and other locations, as well as local businesses within our communities.
