“Career EXCELerate changed my life,” Jasmine says. “…I can clearly see my goals to get closer to my dream now. They give you resources for jobs, they help you with networking, they even help you with your resume. I think that’s the greatest part about this program – it’s endless.”

Meet Jenny – Accepting Challenges and Increasing Financial Stability

At 65, Jenny took the bold step of turning her personal caregiver role into a way to increase financial stability for her family. Through Career EXCELerate’s Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP) program, she gained the training needed to be formally recognized and compensated for caring for her adult son with autism. With hard work and comprehensive support, she completed the online course in just 63 days. Today, Jenny enjoys increased financial stability while continuing to do the work she loves.

The CDCP program is available in partnership with WisCaregiver Careers across Wisconsin, through the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and the WI Department of Health Service. Learn more about Career EXCELerate
