Daryl recently completed a six-week training program at the Stevens Point Goodwill in partnership with Opportunity, Inc.
During his work experience, Daryl learned how to ticket shoes, merchandise, hang accessories and help clean the store.
Daryl continues to gain additional skills as he works with Opportunity, Inc. to prepare him to reach future goals.

Skill Building
Bridge Street Mission offers programs to help individuals in the Wausau area overcome addiction and build stable, productive lives. Goodwill NCW partners with Bridge Street Mission to offer temporary work experience in our stores, helping people gain skills for long-term employment success.
Participants gain transferable work skills within a supportive work environment. Several participants transitioned to permanent roles at the Rib Mountain Goodwill after completing their work experience.

Local Partnerships
Interns at several Project Search sites are preparing for their future careers. With support from Goodwill North Central Wisconsin team members, they are building core job readiness skills and assistance in securing employment that matches their skills, abilities, and interests.
