Dekamin came to Goodwill through Career EXCELerate. As a Congolese refugee with a background in law, he was working in a factory but knew he was meant to do something different. Upon program completion, Dekamin was hired by Goodwill NCW to be a case manager for other Congolese refugees.
Mike Garrigan, Manager of Mission Operations, says Dekamin “has a passion for newcomers into our community and helping them assimilate, get good paying, family supporting careers, and be successful.”
