MENASHA — Goodwill NCW, Fox Valley Technical College and Rawhide Youth Services are teaming up to provide a comprehensive career-training program called Career EXCELerate. The new program is supported by a Workforce Innovation Grant from the state of Wisconsin.

Career EXCELerate career-training program is offered at no cost to individuals who continue to face ongoing challenges from the pandemic and who want an opportunity to earn an educational certificate to launch a lasting career. Students who enroll in the program receive wraparound care to ensure successful completion and guaranteed employment upon graduation.

The program is enrolling students on an ongoing basis for all eight career educational certificate programs. The first cohort is accepting enrollment now through December 16, 2022, for a January 2023 start.

Those interested in the program can complete the online application form at CareerEXCELerateWI.org. The period of time to complete a certificate program ranges from approximately two weeks to two semesters, depending on the career path.

Truck Driving and Maintenance

Over the course of the next three years, the goal is to have more than 400 job seekers complete the certificate programs and gain employment.
